Étageren selbstgemacht

Kitschig oder total genial?

Ich habe mich für total genial entschieden und gleich ein paar selbst gebaut!

Bei Lillesol und Pelle gibt es eine Anleitung 

Das braucht man:

• Tassen und Teller (3 Stück pro Ètagere, 2 Teller, 1 Tasse)
• Isolierband
• haushaltsübliche Bohrmaschine und Diamantbohrer (siehe Bild)
• Etageren-Set (bei Ebay)

So habe ich es gemacht:

1. Teller und Tassen aussuchen. Ich kaufe meine Teller und Tassen auf dem Flohmarkt.

2. Bei jedem Teller (und jeder Tasse) ungefähr in der Mitte ein Isolierband hinleben, genau die Mitte des Tellers auf dem Klebeband markieren.

3. Bohrer aufsetzen, mit Schwamm befeuchten und langsam los bohren.

4. Bohren! Es ist Ausdauer gefragt. 

5. Ètagere zusammenbauen.

Tipps zum Bohren:

1. Der Bohrer braucht seine Zeit. Das Material seeehr hart! Je nach Bohrer dauert es bis zu 20 min!

2. Es geht schneller und der Bohrer wird nicht abgenutzt, wenn das Bohrloch und der Bohrer immer mit ordentlich Wasser befeuchtet sind!

3. Schützt die Bohrfläche vor dem Durchbruch des Bohrers! Ich habe ein altes Küchentuch verwendet.

4. Das Klebeband erleichtert das Anbohren. Ohne Isolierband ist es schwerer die ersten Drehungen des Bohrers auf einer Stelle zu halten.

5. Mehr Umdrehungen pro Minute verbessern nicht das Ergebnis, sondern zerstören den Bohrer!

What you need: 

• Cups and plates (3 pieces per cake stand, 2 plates, 1 cup) 
• insulating tape 
• drill with diamond drill (see picture)
• Etageres Set (Ebay) 

What I did:

1. First choose plates and cups you like. I buy mine at the flea market. You need at least two plates (in different sizes and one cup)

1. Put insulating tape approximately in the middle of each item! Accurately mark the center of the plate (or cup) on the tape. 
2. Place the drill on the marked place and moisten with a sponge, let the drill slowly start.

1. Drilling! Be patient!

1. Assemble the cake stand!

Tips for drilling: 

1. The drilling takes time. The material is very very hard! Depending on the drill it takes up to 20 minutes! 
2. It is going to be faster and the drill is not worn of so quickly if the borehole and the drill are always properly moistened with water! 
3. Protect the drilling surface before the breakthrough of the drill! I've used an old kitchen towel. 
4. The isolating tape facilitates drilling. Without tape, it is difficult to hold the first turns of the drill in one place. 
5. Improved number of revolutions per minute is not going to help you, but destroy the drill!
